Kaz Port Technology
Our unique, proprietary Kaz Port technology allows us to tune our ports to lower frequencies without needing to downfire (point the port out the bottom of the speaker cabinet) the port. This gives our loudspeakers two big advantages over loudspeakers that have to downfire their ports. First, the low frequencies emitted from the port take a more direct path to the listener, resulting in the frequencies arriving at the listener more closely to the timing intended by the recording, and thus a more accurate reproduction. And secondly, this provides you the flexibility to set your Kaz Audio Model 18s on your floor, bookshelf, or other furniture in your room - You're not limited to hanging them on the wall.
